Stephen Sprouse 1988 Jacket & Skirt Ensemble

1988 Spring/Summer Collection by Stephen Sprouse. The cotton jacket features a multi-color "Scrambled Rock" print with front zipper, standing collar, snap placard at neck and two zippered pockets. The matching skirt carries the same print, but with sequin adorned throughout to make it stand out.

Sprouse's first collection debuted in 1983 and he quickly became the darling of the downtown street fashion scene. His friends (and fans) included Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Debbie Harry. He notably collaborated with Andy Warhol as well as Tom Ford and Louis Vuitton to recreate and funk-ify the LV logo. Excellent Vintage Condition.
