YSL Evening Skirt, Fall-Winter 1979-1980

In 1977, Yves Saint Laurent dedicated his Fall-Winter couture collection, "Les Chinoises" to Imperial China. The country was a great source of inspiration for YSL. The same Chinese influence is seen in YSL's 1979-1980 ready-to-wear collection. This rare skirt from the 1979-1980 collection is constructed in satin silk with a beautiful black and purple chrysanthemum pattern and features a high slit on the left side.  Excellent Vintage Condition.
